Vision
The vision of the Happy Place Books Foundation is to provide Gingerboy's Search for Christmas at no cost to as many children and parents as possible through the Salvation Army, Angel Tree, and other Christian non-profit, missionary, and educational organizations at Christmas.
Our Story
Gingerboy's Search for Christmas propels children into a world of wonder through a charming gingerbread boy, named Gingerboy, who comes to life through love and finds that God’s love is the most powerful force in the universe. Shared with over 110,000 children now through churches, the Salvation Army, and Christian schools, written entirely in rhyme, "Gingerboy's Search for Christmas" is designed for parents to read to their children at bed time to help develop that special bond, understand the true meaning of Christmas, and learn how God’s love can mend broken hearts and broken lives.
