This year the Happy Place Books Foundation is thrilled to receive requests from Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Centers in New Jersey and Ohio to provide Gingerboy’s Search for Christmas as a Christmas gift to the families they serve, including a new Spanish translation for Spanish-speaking families.
“The Kroc Centers operate within the mission of the Salvation Army, providing facilities, programs and services that encourage positive living, offer life-changing experiences for children and adults, strengthen families, and enrich the lives of seniors with the goal of uplifting individuals and benefiting communities in need.” – The ‘ECONOMIC HALO EFFECT’ of the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps and Community Center: A Report to the Salvation Army, Partners for Sacred Places and McClanahan Associates, Inc., April 2015, p. 6.
The Foundation is honored to receive these requests. Donors will have the satisfaction of knowing that this heartwarming and life-giving book will be given as a gift to thousands of children and their families to help them know how much Jesus loves us all.
